Nate Diaz got some sweet revenge against former UFC rival Jorge Masvidal with a majority decision win in a light-heavyweight boxing match from the Masvidal fight card preview for the boxing event streaming live tonight Sat July 6 2024 on DAZN.

Diaz Comes Out Strong, Wins Close Fight

Diaz came out attacking the body and controlled the early part of the fight. Masvidal rallied in the later rounds, but Diaz hung on for the win. The judges scored the fight 96-94, 97-93, and 95-95 in favor of Diaz.

This was a big win for Diaz, who had lost to Masvidal via TKO in a contest Masvidal controlled in the latter half. Diaz now has a record of 21-13, while Masvidal drops to 35-16.

The fight was for the BMF Title, which Diaz now holds. It was a close fight, but Diaz ultimately deserved the win.
